Setup & takedown

Setup

  1. Pick flat ground and clear away stones and sticks.
  2. Unroll the tent floor-down with the door where you want it, then stake the corners.
  3. Unscrew the top cap of the black valve (the inflation layer), attach the included hand pump and inflate until the tubes are firm. Leave the red pressure-release knob closed: it lets out extra air on its own.
  4. Stake out the guy ropes. To use the awning, raise it on its 2 support poles and tie it out with guy ropes.

Takedown

  1. Pull the guy-rope stakes, leaving the corners for last.
  2. Open the lower layer of the black valve (the deflation layer) and let the frame empty.
  3. Fold the tent to about 23 cm (9 in) wide and roll it toward the valve to push the last air out.
  4. Dry it fully before storing so it does not mildew.

Safety & care
  • Never use a stove, heater, candle, fuel lantern or any flame inside. Fuel-burning heaters make carbon monoxide.
  • The fabric is not certified flame-retardant. Keep it well away from campfires.
  • Inflate with the included hand pump or another low-pressure pump, never a tire compressor.
  • Stake every corner and guy rope. Take it down in high wind or thunderstorms.
  • Store it clean and fully dry.

Up in 3 steps

01

Spread and stake

Lay the tent flat with the door where you want it, then stake down the corners.

02

Pump up the frame

Attach the included hand pump to the valve and inflate until the air tubes are firm. A pressure-release valve lets out any extra air.

03

Tie out and move in

Stake out the guy ropes and move in. For shade, raise the front awning on its 2 included poles.

First pitch? Practice once in the backyard so you know the steps before the trip.

Questions? Straight answers.

Does it come with a pump?

Yes. A manual air pump comes in the box. If you use an electric pump instead, pick a low-pressure one. Never use a tire compressor or gas-station air: they can over-inflate and burst a tube.

How does setup work?

There are no tent poles to thread. Stake the corners, pump up the air frame through its valve until the tubes are firm, then stake out the guy ropes. Your first pitch takes longer while you learn the steps, so try it once in the backyard before the trip.

How many people really fit?

The maker rates it for 2 sleepers, with room for gear, and 4 people sitting. The floor is 87 × 87 in at ground level and the walls slope inward, so raised air beds aren't recommended. It's 67 in tall overall to the top of the roof cover, and the inside ceiling is lower, so most adults will stoop.

Is it waterproof?

The walls and floor are rated 2,000 mm, a common rating for 3-season tents that handles typical showers. For long, heavy rain, pitch on higher ground and keep the doors zipped. It's a single-layer tent, so you may see condensation inside on cool nights: open a door to let it vent.

How does it handle wind?

We haven't wind-tested it, so we don't give a wind rating. Stake every corner and guy rope, turn the door away from the wind, and lower the awning when gusts pick up. Don't use it during storm or high-wind warnings.

Does the awning come with poles?

Yes. The front awning comes with its 2 support poles. Tie it out with the guy ropes to keep it taut, and lower it when the wind picks up.

When will it arrive?

Orders ship in 2–5 business days and arrive 7–14 business days after shipping. You'll get tracking by email, and you can check anytime under Track my order.

What if a tube gets a hole?

Find the leak with soapy water (it bubbles), deflate, clean and dry the spot, then apply an air-mattress style repair patch and let it cure before re-inflating. A defect on arrival is covered by our 30-day damage protection.

Will it lose air overnight?

Air pressure drops as the night gets colder and rises in hot sun. Check the tubes in the morning and top up with a few pumps. A tube that goes soft quickly has a leak (see above).

Can I use a heater or stove inside?

No. There's no stove jack, and fuel-burning heaters and stoves make carbon monoxide. No flames inside, ever.

Is it a 4-season tent?

No. It's a single-layer tent with no snow rating. Use it from spring to fall.

How heavy is it, and how big when packed?

7 kg (15.4 lb). It packs to about 75 × 23 × 25 cm (29.5 × 9 × 10 in), so it's built for car camping, not backpacking.

Can I return it if I change my mind?

We don't accept change-of-mind returns. If it arrives damaged or defective, our 30-day damage protection covers you with a replacement or a full refund.
